Strategic Problem Solving

Bring the problem before you buy the solution.

Organizations are often sold answers before anyone has taken the time to understand the question. We prefer the opposite.

Start with what is actually wrong

Perhaps the problem crosses departments. Perhaps the team lacks time. Perhaps the available technology does not fit. Perhaps the organization knows the outcome it wants but cannot see the path between here and there. We begin there.

How we approach it

  1. 1Define the problem.
  2. 2Understand the environment.
  3. 3Identify what has already been attempted.
  4. 4Determine what capabilities are actually required.
  5. 5Build the right team around the challenge.
  6. 6Create an actionable path.
  7. 7Execute where appropriate.
  8. 8Measure whether the solution actually solved the problem.

We do not need to know everything

We need enough judgment to recognize what expertise the problem requires. Some solutions can be developed internally. Others require external specialists. Others require partnerships. The objective is not to sell the most services. The objective is to help move the problem toward the right solution.

You Do Not Need to Know Who to Hire

Sometimes organizations know exactly what they need. Often they do not. You may know that referrals are being lost, communication is breaking down, a workflow is consuming too much staff time, growth has stalled, an idea needs to be evaluated, or something inside the organization is simply not working as well as it should.

You do not necessarily need another vendor. You need the problem understood correctly.

Our role begins there.

We listen.

We define the problem.

We determine what expertise is required.

We identify the right professionals.

We organize the work.

Where appropriate, we help move the solution from recommendation to execution.

When a challenge requires expertise beyond our organization, we may selectively engage qualified independent professionals, consultants, technical specialists, and strategic partners.

Transparency matters. We will not pretend that every capability exists under one roof.

Bring us a problem worth understanding.

If there is a genuine fit, we will explore it with you. If there is not, we will be clear.
